Why do you need a Low (min. bed height: 30cm) Hospital Bed?

Very often, users of hospital nursing beds requires additional air mattresses (for bedsore prevention) to be placed on top of the existing foam mattresses.

When placed on Standard (40cm) beds, the total height exceeds that of the wheelchair / commode. This causes difficulties during transfers as caregivers have to carry the users "upwards" when transferring into the beds.

Having a Low bed enables easier daily transfers, and with the height adjustable function, it can be made higher during caregiving.
